Does anybody know when the Cottage was last inhabited ? I remember in the mid 1980's seeing smoke coming from the chimneys but for that reason never ventured over that side ..
There is a rubbish tip down the banking towards the river with discarded rubbish which seems to have come from the house in the 1960's and 70's .. Those blue domestos bottles for example which we used to get half a crown for if we took them back to a retailer ... Also a yellow Duckhams oil can again 1960's and 1970's ... The cottage has rapidly deteriorated in recent years ...
